Now without a further ado let’s see what Insider Monkey has investigated for us. We have picked three of the easiest illnesses to fake for work from their list.

The first idea is that you have allergy to something. Allergies are exaggerated immune responses to different allergens such as pollen, mold, dust, etc., and they are pretty common. Seasonal allergies usually appear at a certain time of the year, for example, in spring so you may also want to consider that before you decide which allergy will you fake. Symptoms can include difficulties breathing, sneezing, coughing, etc. The next fake illness you can find out is Depression. One way or another, we are all depressed at least a little bit, and we watch a lot of TV, so we can fake a panic attack and a mild depression. Many people do it because it is easier than pretending, let’s say, an allergy or chest pain. At last, but not least – what if you have viral fever? Illnesses caused by viruses are nothing new. Therefore, this is a smart choice if you want to get a day off. The symptoms can vary from muscle pain and hoarseness to a sore throat and runny nose. One of the symptoms is also being cold so try to pretend you are cold all the time. When you have one of these, resting is the best medication, and so you will probably get a day or two off.
